Job Description & Qualifications
Leads the marketing operations team and directs strategic growth initiatives that enable the company to meet and exceed growth objectives. Understands and leverages current systems and new technologies to drive operational efficiencies.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Manages the marketing project management team. Leads all inbound and outbound marketing campaigns within the print and digital spaces.
Develops and ensures the execution of strategies and communications for all marketing operations projects. Works with internal departments and external vendors to develop concepts and designs for related marketing efforts.
Creates annual operational strategies to maximize the achievement of corporate goals. Identifies, researches, and analyzes opportunities for growth and develops operational business processes to deliver against growth strategies.
Ensures all business channels are integrated into the overall marketing strategy.
Maintains all catalog and direct mail activities across business segments, including house file and prospecting strategy implementation and the execution and management of digital assets.
Builds and manages key internal and external relationships, including relationships with vendors, broker services, and printers.
Assists with budget management and expense controls for the marketing department.
Nature and Scope
Problems are typically defined by higher level leadership. Problems are difficult. Solutions require analysis and investigation.
Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies, and guidelines. May set or change plans/goals within respective department or area.
May manage department via multiple layers of managers OR directly supervise a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity.
Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details
Leads Marketing Ops team, includes but not limited to Mar Tech, should be proficient in Salesforce, Adobe and Marketing Ops tools not limited to this tool set.
Manages project management team for Marketing, leads all inbound and outbound campaigns within print and digital space.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related area.
10+ years of experience leading marketing teams and managing and implementing marketing technologies.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Adobe, and other marketing ops tools. Not limited to this tool set.
Project Management experience.
Print and digital marketing experience, digital is preferred.
Ensures a cross-functional approach and all channels of the business are integrated into the marketing strategy where appropriate. Experience with sales teams, supply chain, merchandising, legal and how they interact with marketing is preferred.
